Ozi Babad

Ozi Babad brings creativity and clarity to commercial interior design. He first joined HH Designers and dove into projects across retail, hospitality, residential, and more.

Today, as founder of OZI Designers, he leads commercial interior projects that combine bold design with smart function. His belief? Great design isn’t just about looks; it should make you feel something.

In the classroom, Ozi breaks down floor plans, space planning, and project management in a way that clicks. With a warm, grounded style, he helps students connect their creativity to real-world design.

Gregory Melitonov

Gregory Melitonov sees design from every angle: as an architect, firm founder, and award-winning educator. With over 13 years of experience leading projects across New York and Latin America, he brings real-world perspective and creativity to every class.

He’s the founding partner of Taller KEN and has taught at Columbia, Parsons, and SVA. A Yale M.Arch grad, Gregory’s also a recipient of the Architectural League Prize and AIA New Practices Award.

In class, he encourages exploration and experimentation, always rooted in thoughtful, practical design.

Yaakov Roffman

Yaakov Roffman has been drafting for nearly a decade, but his love for architecture started long before that. Raised in Brooklyn, he’s always been drawn to how space shapes the way we live.

Yaakov breaks complex ideas into clear, step-by-step lessons in the ICA Architectural Drafting Program, as well as the Interior Design & Architecture Program. He helps students build skills, gain confidence, and think like pros from day one.

Supportive, practical, and always just a message away, Yaakov is here to help you master the tools and mindset behind strong, smart design.

Bailee Klein

Bailee Klein brings design to life and makes sure it works in the real world. As founder of BK Interior Designs and BK Interior Photography, she blends creativity with strategy and brings that same energy to the classroom at ICA.

With a Master’s in Interior Architecture and a background in business, Bailee knows what it takes to thrive from the first sketch to the final client pitch. Her classes are packed with real-world tips, design insight, and tools that help students hit the ground running.

She helps students sharpen their eye, trust their instincts, and design spaces that feel as good as they look.

Ingrid Garbar

Ingrid Garbar knows design inside and out, and she’s passionate about giving students the skills to bring their ideas to life. With nearly a decade of hands-on experience using AutoCAD and Photoshop, she teaches the industry’s go-to tools with clarity and confidence.

Ingrid has worked on high-end interior design projects across the U.S. and currently leads design work at Roric Tobin Designs. She holds a degree from UNIFACS in Brazil and has earned awards for both creative work and academic excellence.

Her classes combine real-world design experience with hands-on software training, helping students feel capable, creative, and ready to work at a professional level.

Mali Speedone

Amalia Speedone is a designer who makes Revit work and ensures her students do too. With over a decade of experience in architecture and interior design, she has led commercial projects from concept to construction, using Revit to streamline space planning and FF&E coordination.

As Principal Designer at AmaliaSDesigns, she blends creativity with technical skill. She’s also worked with firms like TranSystems and Donny Ankri Architects, creating full drawing sets, managing FF&E, and supporting construction teams with Revit.

In class, Amalia keeps things clear, practical, and hands-on, helping students gain confidence and use Revit not just for drawings, but to think through design like pros.
